I'm AXEL

on Monday, Babra, my teacher wrote in my diary : "Axel has been fine, really enjoying using the computer each day. He uses a touch screen and a special program called Touch Fun Fair and Touch Games, He loves it very much".
And that was giving my mummy an idea to start introducing me to use one of our computers at home.

It's not the touch screen like in my school but we use with the mouse one.

My mummy thought this is a good time for me to go one step forward for adding my ability to do something new for my future.

Because now I am interested to use it so that's the good point for me.


This week my mummy has started to teach me how to click the mouse. It was a little bit hard at the beginning as I messed around.
Then I started to understand that at this stage I only need to use the left side of the mouse.. although sometimes I make mistake by clicking the right side..oops..it's okay..I'm still learning.


I often to go to a website called "www.starfall.com" to learn all the letters and to play lots of games in it as well.
I love it so much.

I've been learning the letters A, B, C and D.
I do it slowly..again and again, just to get used to them.

I can pronounce letter 'A' now...very loud though...ha..ha...
of course because that's my first letter of my name, Axel...

Sometimes I go to the Cbeebies website to watch 'something special' which contains stuff on how to use the makaton sign language. I like watching 'Mr Tumble' which is very funny.
Everytime we sit to do the computer I can sit nicely for an hour and amazingly I don't get bored at all.
It is my will to sit in front of the computer everytime I want to.


My mummy is very happy with my progress.

I am getting very busy now. I do have quite a lot of activities to do at home.
I do learn makaton every night, practise my pecs, watch Queen DVDs', help my mummy with cooking or the washing up, play on the trampoline, play with my brothers, play my guitar with papa, do the colouring...wow..

My life has started to have its meaning and I am rarely get upset as I am busy and enjoying my life.

And as I am tired with doing all those things I sleep well every night.

At night before I go to sleep I always fold my hands and my mummy help me to say my prayers "Thank you God for today, bless my family and me and help me day by day in my life..In Jesus name I pray .. Amen"

Now, the answers of all my family prayers are on the way. Praise The Lord.

Last weekend,Papa, Britano and me were gathering together in my bedroom.
Papa had been practising his guitar and I loved listening to it.

My papa has three guitars...one acoustic and two electric and I also have a little electric one but it's operated with batteries.




When my papa practices his guitar I like to sit in front of him and just to watch him playing...sometimes he allows me to have a try with his guitars...

I am fine with the sound of the electric guitar. I've found it's very funny sometimes that I'm not okay with loud noises e.g.vacum cleaner or lawnmower or the sound of drums or motorbikes..It's so annoying and scares me a lot....
But The sound of electric guitar always makes me happy.




To avoid loud sounds Papa uses the earphones so he can set the sound to suit him and people around him don't get annoyed when he plays his electric guitar.



So Papa let me put the earphones onto my ears.
The first time I was worried with them because I never used them before so my mummy encouraged me to put them on slowly.



Once I put them on I took them straight away because I surprised with the sound that came in to my ears... but then I recognised that the sound was the sound of the guitar that papa was playing.

I tried again and again and again until I got used to them and started to enjoy using them. Britano, my little brother and me took turns using them because he wanted to hear the sound as well...How exciting that was...

I called it happy hours because we were really really happy..I was dancing, swaying, jumping and laughing..I was so happy and I enjoyed it very much.

A lot of changes have been made in my bedroom recently. My mummy just moved the bunk bed to Kevin's & Ano's bedroom and I had their three quarter bed.
The reason of that was because my mum would spend more time with me to do the makaton sign language together in my bedroom. With my old bunk bed it was impossible to do that because my mum couldn't sit together with me so she swapped my bed with kevin's & Ano's was a good idea.
Everynight after I finish my dinner my mummy and me stay in my bedroom and learn it stage by stage .I am quite good at it actualy.

Not only my bed had changed also my mum just put up a new curtain for me. It was a plain cream roller curtain before but I ripped it off when I got upset. Luckily the roller still worked so my mum just bought some new material and replaced it with blue ship curtain which I liked very much. I felt so relaxed to look at them.

I've had my new "rocket&planet" lamp shade as well. It was a paper football before and because I could reach it everytime I stood up on my bunk bed I started fiddling it and ripped it eventualy.
Now I can't touch my new lamp shade as it's quite far from where I am.

I like my bedroom and enjoy spending my spare time in there.
Through my bedroom I can see the big road where the cars, busses and people passing by. I can see people's houses as well. I can see our garden with my trampoline and my hammock down there.

I like when it's nice weather so I can open my window and can see the sky so bright and I feel fresh when the breeze comes inside.
That I enjoy very much.

I have a tv combi and a video as well so I can watch my favourite'Queen'or'Eagles' DVDs or just watch the kids program on telly and learn makaton from my video.

Also I have a radio in my room to keep me entertained.
I always sleep with the radio on because I can't sleep without it. I hate being silent and in darkness.
So light and sound are very important for my sleeping routine.

Now I sleep in my bed alone.
Years ago I couldn't sleep without somebody with me (either my mummy or my dad)..I always wake up in the middle of the night if I found there was none of them with me.. and I stayed awake and wondered around disturbing them until morning when I had to get ready to go to school..In the school I had much trouble as I was so tired and sleepy. It affected my behaviour too.

Then Dr. Roberts, My doctor gave me a medicine called melatonin to get me to sleep routine but it only worked for a while as I could sleep only in the length of the time it could take effect.

My mummy worked really hard to sort out my problems until one day she bought me a sleeping bag from Next. She thought it might help me to feel like being cuddled when I was sleeping.
I liked it and for the first time I felt safe and warm as well.

The other day my mum saw in IKEA that they sold a big long pillow (people called it as a boster or bantal guling in Indonesian) and she bought two for me and at that night I slept very well.
Since then I didn't need the medication anymore and my sleeping problem was sorted.

My Mummy and my dad bought me a hammock last week...
It's been a long time they'd been planning to buy one for me...

I like swinging...everytime I go to the park I always play on it...

One day last year they were just about to buy a hammock for me that they saw in an advertisement which was on offer in a big store but unfortunately when we went up there the hammocks were sold out...we were dissapointed..

A hammock costs quite expensive in here..especialy in the summer.. but some stores sometimes sell it with half price at the end of season.

On Thursday when My dad, Kevin and me picked my mummy up from work then we went to Big W and we saw that they already sold the hammocks on half price.
Without a second thought my parents took one of them and paid for it...
When we got home my dad assembled it so I could play on it ...thank you papa!
I was very happy and kept playing on it..I felt so relaxed on it especially in this season when the weather got warmer...

Now I can play on trampoline for one time and have relaxation on my hammock after that...or when my brothers, kevin and britano are on the trampoline. That keeps us together without fighting everytime we are in the garden...
